Resident Artist Program
The Resident Artist program of the Fayetteville-Lincoln County Arts Center (FLCAC) for Photography, Arts or Crafts is a one to two year appointment designed to meet the needs of visual or craft artists by providing studio space, and public display facilities. Residencies are offered in all forms of painting, crafts or photography (we ask that subjects are acceptable by the general population). Resident Artists contribute through the focused pursuit of their creative work, teaching*, and gallery support roles, while acting as mentors and actively participating in the Art community that make up the FLCAC.
The residency program is unique in that it allows the artist to develop their customer base, relations and teaching skills in addition to their creative and artistic growth. Qualified Resident Artists are allowed to teach classes. Resident Artist will be allowed to set the tuition of any class they teach (with the exception of Summer Art Camps).
The FLCAC offers one to four weeks of Art Camp during the summer months to children. The Resident Artist (if approved by the FLCAC) can be responsible for some of these Camps and will receive payment for teaching these camps. Teaching of Art Camps is optional.

*Qualified Resident Artists are allowed to teach as many classes as they desire. We do ask that they scheduled the classroom in advance to prevent conflicts with other events. They will have priority on use of the classroom with the exception of the summer Art Camp Programs.
